Ninety-nine percent of our projects are through past customers referring us to their neighbors, friends and family members. We have built projects for couples, then for their parents, their best friends and even their next-door neighbors. This speaks for itself. Our craftsmanship is bar none. When we take you out to see our actual work, we will point out the finer details where other deck builders take short cuts. You will be able to see that building an outdoor room is not just slapping lumber together. We even install brass emblems on our projects to show our pride. Integrity comes from within - we bend over backwards to make sure every one of our customers is truly happy with their project. If you're not happy, we're not happy.

The owner, Brad Kellogg, has been in the home construction field for 11 years. His earlier years were with local builders - framing residential house and building decks. His creativity was recognized when working on outdoor amenities, and more and more of his interest was deck construction. So, Brad decided to focus solely on building outdoor amenities and further his carpentry expertise and craftsmanship. He is also a member of the Home Builders Association and has completed CABO certified home inspection classes.

A properly designed deck should have many design components considered, such as: useable space, entry and exit, traffic pattern, food preparation area, and curb appeal (if applicable). Even a unique rail system can make an economical rectangular deck look impressive. Whether you have pulled pages from a magazine or you can visualize your outdoor area, we will conduct an in-home consultation, FREE. After completing hundreds of decks in difficult terrain, we can offer many creative ideas and suggestions for your project.

The first step in Kellogg Construction's design process entails meeting with homeowners to view pictures and determine their individual goals. Once we meet with homeowners to discuss their vision of the outdoor area, we will then combine this information with the site conditions, backyard and home, and begin creating one or more designs. Part of our process includes visiting a jobsite to show our materials and craftsmanship in person.

We do obtain the building permits. A building permit protects you by ensuring that the work will be inspected and completed in compliance with local and state building codes. We carry general liability and worker's compensation insurance and can provide you with a copy if needed. Our business license is with Forsyth County.

We are always available... Constant communication between all parties involved in the project is critical to its successful completion. To aid in this on-going communication, we are always available by cellular phone and by Nextel during the working day. When voice mail is necessary, we do return calls promptly.
